Ellen-Marie Whelan, a nurse pratitioner, Senior Health Policy Analyst and Associate Director of Health Policy for the Center for American Progress, does a great job of explaining how the new health care reform legislation–the Affordable Care Act–is being implemented. I interviewed her on Healthstyles (WBAI) on August 28th, along with three nurses associated with the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners about the association’s effort to tackle childhood obesity (Healthy Eating and Activity Together).
