CHMP’s National Advisory Council member Theresa Brown, had a new New York Times “Bedside” column in yesterday’s Sunday Review. Theresa describes the column, “Out of Network, Out of Luck,” saying that it “looks at the health insurance landscape here in Pittsburgh and argues that issues of access are likely to play out nationally. It’s a wonky-sounding topic that’s very human at heart.” It’s disturbing to read about health systems that put their own competitive interests above the interests of patients. Here’s a link to the column.
