Parenting a Transgender Child

Allie is 12 years old. She hates being referred to as a transgender girl. She just wants to be called a girl. When Allie (Adam at that time) was 8 years old, she told her parents she was a girl. She has a twin brother, Jacob. Her mother, Elizabeth talks about raising her kids.
