Dr. Baxter Bell: Healthy Aging

Yoga for Healthy Aging: A Guide to Lifelong Well-Being. Written by Dr. Baxter Bell and Nina Zolotow. Designed by Steve Dyer.

COVID-19 has majorly impacted all of our lives in unprecedented ways, but few groups have suffered the pandemic’s effects to the extent that aging adults have. Baxter Bell, MD, eRYT 500, C-IAYT, is a medical doctor, certified yoga teacher, and yoga therapist who is an advocate of aging adults practicing healthy habits. He is the co-author of Yoga for Healthy Aging: A Guide to Lifelong Well-Being, and the co-founder and past contributing writer for the blog Yoga for Healthy Aging. Dr. Bell is a proponent of adults aging in a way that keeps them healthy for as long as possible, while they remain independent and informed on how to manage the physical effects of growing older.

On this HealthCetera podcast, Eve Adler, MA, RN, RYT, YTRx, HealthCetera correspondent, registered nurse, and registered yoga teacher; hosts Baxter Bell for a conversation about the experience of aging during the pandemic, how yoga may ease the aging process, and ways to maintain health for all those aging, including COVID long-haulers, during this time.

This interview first aired on HealthCetera in the Catskills on WIOX Radio on March 23rd, 2022.
