As the pandemic continues to affect physical accessibility to healthcare services, telehealth platforms remain an important channel through which providers can regularly connect with patients. Among the medical services offered online are psychiatry and therapy services, available via platforms such as Lavender. Lavender is an online teletherapy site co-created by Pritma Dhillon-Chattha DNP, MHA, RN, and Brighid Gannon DNP, PMHNP-BC, two psychiatric nurse practitioners looking to improve clients’ access to mental health therapy services.

On this podcast, HealthCetera correspondent and public health nurse Barbara Glickstein, MPH, MS, RN, hosts Lavender’s co-founders as they discuss the need for convenient teletherapy services, and the creation of Lavender to meet that need.

This interview first aired on HealthCetera in the Catskills on WIOX Radio on January 12th, 2022.
