January is cervical cancer month. There is now a self-screening test for cervical cancer that could have a significant impact on its early detection. Dr. Erica Liebermann, PhD, RN, is a registered nurse and Assistant Professor of nursing at the University of Rhode Island and a fellow in the Betty Irene Moore Fellowship for Nurse Leaders and Innovators. HealthCetera producer and host, Dr. Diana Mason, PhD, RN, talked with Dr. Liebermann about cervical cancer and the self-screening test for the disease.
