As school reopens, every child and teenager who has been following their own internal clock on waking up in the morning is asking, why does school have to start so early? What time should school start and why does this matter? Diana Mason, PhD, RN, host of HealthCetera in the Catskills on WIOX Community Radio, talks about this issue with Kyla Wahlstrom, PhD, a senior research fellow and lecturer at University of Minnesota’s College of Education and Human Development. This interview occurred on September 6, 2023.
